What's the story with the Apple iPad?

Dear Online Community,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to “The Moon Tower” blog! We would like to shine light on the projects that we’re doing, and keep everyone updated on our various happenings (insert joke about Marky Mark and M. Night Shyamalan here)

So for the last month and a half we’ve been working on our debut Villa House Pictures project. The movie is a sketch based around the new Apple iPad. The experience of creating and producing this flick has been unbelievable. It was an amazing act of juggling numerous balls, spinning many plates, wearing many hats, and any other circus metaphor you can come up with. We were fortunate to acquire lots of help from many talented people including actors, actresses, and crew members. Having their talents at our disposal was invaluable in the filming process.

What a blast it was though. We got to do a number of really cool things like ride bikes, play with cute dogs and delve into a bit of stunt and effects work… just to name a few. Today we put the finishing touches on the music, plugged in the necessary sounds, and created the titles. This baby is ready to go!! We plan to release the sketch on the world-wide web tomorrow!!

So the iPad huh? What does everyone think about this new device? Steve Jobs has really progressed us into the touch screen future that all of the sci-fi movies we watched as kids portrayed. Will this simply be a more mainstream kindle? Or, will the iPad completely revolutionize print media and the industries involved? The iPod changed the music industry. Why can’t our friends at Apple do it to print publishing?

We’ll be posting entries on this blog every couple of days to keep everyone updated on our content and media, so keep your eyes peeled!

A Villa House Pictures update:

Warmly,

Henry Cooper
